Briana Person, born in Washington, DC, has always had a passion for dance. She began dancing in True Praise Dance Ministry at Glendale Baptist Church. There is when she realized that dance was her calling. She started training at Expressions Dance Theater at the age of 11. From there she went on to Studio Boomboxx and then Dance Dimensions to continue training in the art of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, Horton, contemporary, and Dunham. In 2009, she joined Dance Dimensions Senior Company.
Briana graduated in 2010 and attended the University of Bridgeport in CT, where she became the captain and choreographer of Future Leaders of Hip Hop (F.L.O.H.) Dance Company. Upon returning to the DC area, she joined various dance ministries and performed at countless church events and ministry conferences. While dancing with the ministry she became a teacher at Dance Dimensions. In addition, she served as a volunteer teacher with Joy of Motion Dance Center, teaching hip hop at Maury Elementary School. She enjoys teaching and being a role model to other young dancers who holds the same passion for dance as she does.
